Deciduous Trees

Deciduous Trees

In our area, these are defined as trees that lose their leaves at some point over the course of the year. This section includes typical shade, ornamental and flowering trees. Some semi-evergreen trees are listed in this section because they hold on to their leaves through the winter only to drop them just in time for the new spring growth.

Most trees in this section are dug from a field and are listed by the caliper size (2", 2.5", 3"). This is the diameter of the trunk measured 6" above the root ball (ANSI Z60.1 -2004) Trees with multiple stems are listed by their height. Trees that are grown in a container will have a "#" listing that will designate the size of the container. (ex. #7 = 7 gal.)
